As part of the Presbyterian/Reformed branch of Christianity, our congregation is governed by a group of elders (called the “Session”), and affirms that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, and head of the church. We understand that we are connected to other Christians and part of the world-wide body of Christ. We believe that God’s Spirit is at work in the Church and in our world, transforming, healing, and making us new, and that we are called to be instruments of God’s grace and peace in the world.
Worship and music are central to our life as God’s people, as are fellowship and study, mission and service. We value our children and youth, and encourage their participation in every aspect of church life. We are pleased to have the Church on the Journey share our building, and we are a founding partner in St. Andrews Presbyterian Mission here in Midland.
